I love The Number One Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexandar McCall Smith. The book series has now been turned into an HBO series-if you don't have HBO I highly recommend that you rent it through Netflix, Hastings, or watch the series online. If you have been to Africa before, you will find your love for the continent again through the book's characters. Stuart has been watching the HBO series with me (we rent it through Netflix) and he really enjoys it. He has a big smile on his face the whole time we are watching it. He said, "How is it that a white man so completely captured the essence of southern Africa?!"
Try it, you just might find a friend in Mma Ramotswe too.
