Before Louisville

                                                       Before Stuart leaves, "Bye ya'll!"

Snuggly Winter Days

Lela loves to look at books. The Corderoy books are some of her favorites. This her relaxing after a bath.

'Uh-oh, mommy's taking a picture, quick cover my eyes!'
I couldn't get a picture fast enough before Lela noticed and covered her face. But they were watching The Sound of Music so sweetly together.

                                                         Thula loves her kitty, Cindy.
Lela modeling her new snow boots.
Completed puzzle that Grandpa gave for Christmas.
All gussied up for the school's annual 'Snow Ball.' Thula said she was doing her 'fashion face.'
Thula and some of her classmates.
Thula was a nice big sister and danced with Lela before she really cut it up.

                                                               Don't take my picture!

Snow Days Jan. 2011

Nor'easter's brought more snow this year than the Northeast has seen since record keeping began.
Lela likes to cover her eyes if I take picture!
Taking a litttle winter walk. It was such a sunny day and we were tired of being cooped up so I decided to take the girls out. We froze though. When we came back in I checked the temp and it was something ridiculous like 4 degrees out.  Oops.

Porch roof with about four feet of snow on it in right side of picture. I got to shovel all that snow off.

That's not a snow peaked mountain, it's my neighbor's roof!

Lela ran out before I could get her properly dressed. Yikes this is cold Mommy!

After shoveling for several hours I came in to find that Lela had strewn potato flakes and chili powder all over the floors. All in a days work.

Christmas 2010

Believe it or not these are our little homemade nativity play costumes. I guess we were doing the down in the 'hood version.

I love this picture! For my Sound of Music themed Christmas this year my sweet sister made my girls 'white dresses with blue satin sashes." They came out adorable.
