This is a photo Lela took of herself. I just found it so poetic. :-)
Life Can Change So Fast

What was your favorite part?
the science museum had a 'messy day' and Lela took it all very seriously
My new friend gave Lela these froggy rain boots and Lela quickly felt she never knew how she once lived without them
Lela's secret hiding place. She once took a whole bag of apples under there and took bites out of every single one
playing dress up
Evil Thula
Nice Thula

I always wanted a wagon and now I have one for free. Lela feels like such a princess in it and Thula pushes her all around like a good sport. I took these pictures at the bus stop.

picking apples at Hidden Hollow Orchard in East Louisville. These were good apples!
Look at my pretty new hair-doo!
This is my new friend Denise. She took us to Bernheim State Park and we took turns carrying Lela. It was a fun day.

I took Lela to the Science Museum when Thula was at school. They have a big children's area for little kids and Lela's favorite part is driving the bus while singing "The wheels on the bus."
I love the little raincoats they have for the kids to use at the water table and I love Lela's bouncy baby lamb hair!

Why do kids like water going up their behinds? The month of August in KY was deathly hot so I took advantage of my new zoo membership and we went to their splash pad.
The power of the water kept blowing up Thula's swim suit. She thought it was pretty funny.
The girl standing next to Thula is her new best friend, Sarah. They are in the same class at church and at school!
Feeding the giraffe or tutwa. I think Thula was a little nervous!
The girls loved these birds. Now every time Lela sees a bird she holds her arm out thinking it will perch there.

This is me making her do the "God's must be crazy" pose. "Hurry Lela, the heyena is coming to get you!"
waiting for grandma to come out of the temple

Stuart said this picture was disturbing
Thula took the picture when I wasn't ready! I didn't get to put on my "I'll run right through you like a freight train" face.
Thula on the swings
Lela on the horsey
I didn't know you were at the fair dad?!

Look at my two beautiful daughters! One going to school-the other wishing she was old enough to tag along with sis
Oh my, look at that adorable fluffy hair!
They love swimming at the apartment pool!
Yikes! We didn't know it was going to be so cold!
This is how it's done Lela
Now jump!
Lela is screaming as usual
Lela is a good little swimmer with her floaties. She even tries to swim without them, but hasn't quite mastered it yet. She is very brave and loves jumping into the pool.
