Easter

Thula's Easter card for Daddy (why don't I ever get stuff like that?) He's also sporting one of the girls dress up necklaces and some flopped over bunny ears. We love you Stuart!

Easter dresses

Lela digging into her candy

Thula found her basket at last! with a little help from daddy

They got a few candies, pencils, T-umbrella, L-animal crackers

Why is it so hard to get a good ptcture when yo want one. Stuart took picyures of the girls while I finished getting ready for church- I would have done more outside ones, but that's okay...

Lela picked out her own dress
No more pictures mom!

Thanks for the sugar inducing coma sucker Aunt Rose!

Pre-dinner Easter salads. I also made ham, asparagus, rolls, roasted potatoes, and cheesecake.

Apparantly it wasn't that great because Lela fell asleep at the table.

A few games of Sequence rounded out the evening before we had to take daddy back to the airport. Boo!

Thula making us laugh

Grandpa gave us each our very own Sound of Music doll. Yes! (by accident though-apparantly he thought he was ordering only one instead of three-it's an Easter miacle!)

This and That Spring Break

We went to a Civil War camp reanactment in New Britain, CT. It was a cold day, but we had fun. Thula thought it was interesting.

Pretending the girls have to go take a bath in that cold creek.

Bed time stories with Daddy

I forgot to take a picture of when we went to Friendly's, but I remembered when we went to Thula's other favorite place, IHOP!

Daddy's home! Lela looks a little confused.

I found Lela watching The Sound of Music while eating a tube of butter she treated herself too from the fridge.

Throwing a fit when she couldn't have anymore chocolate pudding

Lela's 2nd Birthday

Lela has eyes like me! I love my little girl.

Thula picked out Lela's birthday dinner-nshima and stew

Happy Birthday little girl! Thula suggested we have cinnamon rolls instead of cake. We used cousin Emily's recipe. They were delish.

Stuart suggested we wear hats. He knows how to partay :-)

She's such a cheese ball

Lela is wearing her new outifit from Grandpa, new shoes from Grandma and sweeping with her new broom from mommy.

Lela loves her Toy Story dinasor flahlight that asks, "Are you scared?"

Piggy bank from neighbor Arnie and Bea

New drum and other instruments from mommy and daddy.

This is the best card ever!!!! Thank you Dad!

Thula is enjoying her new dolly, thank you Gramps

Thula just discovered that her doll can talk.

Relaxing with daddy. We are so happy he's home.
