On Saturday we went to Fox Chase Farms for the sheep shearing day. The Elmer's and I decided to walk there (Stuart said there was a 1000 % of him not going. Can we all read this together now, STICK IN THE MUD!) It was a little over 8 miles there and back. It was a beautiful day, but I was dog tired when we finally got home!

I love the color of the spring!

On our way home we let the kids play in the creek

After carding the wool, the kids spun it, and dyed it.

Thula had her ballet recital on Saturday. I thought her and all the little kids were so cute I could hardly stand it! I also did her hair for the concert and I am quite proud of myself. The Bishop's wife even thought that Katoba was in town!

Go Fly a Kite

Posh Spice
Thula got a kite for Easter and was very excited to use it. We had a great time together.
Here's my Dora Kite!
Thula has been swinging on this same swing since we moved to Philadelphia when she was 20 months old. Now at 4 she's just about to big for it. :-( Time goes by to fast.
