Mystic Seaport

We visited Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Ct. It's a living history place where they show you what a seaport village was like around 150+ years ago.  It was fun except it was a very hot day.

I thought this was the most interesting part of the trip. It's the last whaling ship in the world, 170 years old. They are remodeling it for another sea voyage next year.

Thula says petting the horse and going out to eat were her favorite part of the day.

Well who doesn't love to end the day at a chinese buffett!

While daddy was here he was busy fixing things around the house and Lela was his little helper. She followed him around the house asking, "Daddy, what you doin?"
