Afternoon at Hammonasset Beach (Long Island Sound)

Bathing beauties

Lela was a good girl at the beach. She liked swimming and playing in the sand. Stuart was getting bit by sand flies so he covered up.

Like our rain umbrella and kitchen utensils?

My camera took blue pictures, so the water wasn't blue-think murky green.

This is Lela right before she passed out in the car. I had to get a picture of her being so chill. It was funny, she was in slow motion with a frozen smile.

Hair cuts, shoes, friends, and fun

Thula has a new hair cut-love that bob do'

Looks like daddy's watching the world cup

The first night of sleeping together. They did pretty good. Lela is a little disoriented, but hopefully they will grow closer from sharing a room for awhile.

Happy Father's Day! Thula wanted to make daddy breakfast in bed like they did for me for mother's day. We made smiley pancakes and Stuart ate his computer.

The day at Six Flags with Thula's new church friends, sister's Grace and Sophia.

Lela got her first pair of shoes.
Size 3 foam sandals.

This is the kitty's old litter box. I had to get a covered one because Lela likes to play in and eat the cat litter. Now show likes to sit in the old one and eat her lunch. In a prior life she must have been a cat.

Sissy helping put on baby's shoes. Such a big helper.

Last Day of School

Thula's first morning of summer vacation. I can't believe that in a few more weeks she's going to be in 2nd Grade!

On the last day of school I took Thula and some friends raspberry picking at our favorite orchard. The berries were delicious and reminded me of eating raspberries in my great grandmother Pearl's garden.

Then we went to the park in Middlefield.

A few days before school let out the school had a little carnival. Thula enjoyed her school year. She made some nice little friends and she liked her teacher Mrs. Kalber. If you ask her what her favorite thing at school is she says, "lunch then recess."

Lela days

Just lounging around

Who doesn't love a squeeze pop?

Uh-oh look who found the sugar

Lela loves sucking on lemons or limes

Making noise

Lela likes to play with the big girls

I found another walking trail to explore. Nothing beats Pennypack in Philadelphia though!
