Kids and a turtle

The little faces of baby S

A sleeping angel and sleeping naughty cat, never mind the little bum cheek.

Aunt Jana came all the way from Canada to help out during baby's surgery. We had a lot of fun!

We found a turtle in our yard. Lela thought it was pretty neat and Thula thought it was creepy. I kept it for a day and then set him loose. I don't need another pet right now. He was sure cute though.

With Thula in school from 7:30AM to 5PM I don't get many photos of her, but she is doing well. Here she is finishing another race for her cross country team. She always runs the whole way! She also won first place in her class spelling bee.

Baby's 2nd Surgery

These two pictures were taken two weeks before the surgery. On this day he was having a colostogram/barrium swallow done at the hospital. He's wearing the little hospital gown.

Do you see little Stuart's name?! This is the welcome to surgery board at the hospital. His surgery took about 2 hours.

Post-op. He looks very swollen because he's been lying prone for two hours and is being pumped full of fluids and antibiotics through his IV's.

Poor baby does not feel well.

Foggy from all the pain medication.

"Speedy recovery" cookies from big Stuart's co-workers.

Day 3 in the hospital. Baby is trying really hard to please mommy with some smiles. He's such a sweet precious angel face.

P.S. Baby always sounds a little congested, but he does more so in the video because he wasn't able to cough it out in the postion he had to lay in.

I wanna gobble those hands up!

Thula frying some chicken for dinner, just the way Grandma Robin taught her: egg, flour, fry! It was delicious.

True love.
