The last race was in Lexington. It was a Beautiful drive with all of the horse farms. It looked like a pretty patchwork quilt and looked like pictures I've seen of the English countryside. It was a cold day though, but little Stuart enjoyed his papoose.

Thula ran well this season. She always finished in the top quarter of all her races. She enjoyed learning how to run for fun and says she wants to do it again next season. Go Thula!

Happy Halloween

Before the ward Trunk-or-Treat. I think Lela's costume will end up being something she'll blame me for when she's older. She's suppossed to be "Swift Wind" She-Ra's noble steed and Lela's favorite super-hero horse. Lela picked out the yarn and I sewed it to a winter hat and then stuck bunny ears over it. She also had a pair of pink fairy wings to go with it because Swift Wind can fly. Despite this hot mess she acutally won the 'Best Costume' at the Trunk-or-Treat partay. She's just too cute! 

My handsome husband. He also wore this for his work party and won best costume. Lela must have heard me call him handsome because on Halloween night she asked him, "Daddy, are you going to be handsome again?"
